Canada DEMANDS Farmers Kill 400 Ostriches!

The owners of a remote British Columbia ostrich farm are being told to round up 400 of their ostriches and kill them by February 1 after two of the birds reportedly came down with avian flu. Founded in 1995, Universal Ostrich Farm sells bird oil, feathers and skins, and is involved in an international program to produce antibodies and, ultimately, a vaccine to deal with the H5N1 avian flu pandemic.
