The first one happend to my parents. A call from an unknown number and an odd sounding "me" on the other end, telling my parents that "I" had a car accident. My parents are 66 and 72 respectivly and don't want to engage with most modern technologies. Thankfully they didn't give any personal info away, as they found "my" reaction odd. They tried to call me, but couldn't reach me as i was on a business trip. When i called back they were almost panicing. For a few weeks after that, they keept receiving several calls from different types of scams, about 1 or 2 a day. My mother would just hang up, but my father would say stuff like "well thats your problem" before hanging up. By now the calls have stopped, and we agreed upon a codeword in case i needed something and didn't call with my own phone.
Number 6: AI companies

Let me know what you think here P.S. for number 5 im snitching on yall to your parents
I'm gonna make an AI YouTube channel that pretends it is a real person and is all about criticizing AI.
6:21 NAAAH that’s some Black Mirror stuff…
A friend of mine is really into AI chatbots and see it as the future. For me I don't understand how he can trust a corporation with his personal information and emotions like that. I can't even trust a game company to keep a live service up.
The $25million scam was actually successful, and only found out a week later when people were wondering where the money was. Just clarifying that it wasn't 'almost' successful, it was
great video man. I'll be sending this to my friends and family that aren't INTO artificial intelligence but definitely need to be aware of this bit. looking forward to the next AI YouTube Community live stream!
So now we can't depend on security cameras anymore, like a spy movie, they'll roll an avatar of you committing a crime while someone else robs the bank.....
Telling them is good, but installing a background app that vibrates when it hears an AI voice is even better. I linked the local privacy-first tool in my channel bio.
