Let’s talk about osteoporosis and osteopenia. There is no way you can build up your bone with just calcium. If you try, you could end up with calcification of your arteries. Osteoporosis is a loss of bone density and bone mass. This increases your risk of fractures. Osteopenia is the stage that occurs just before osteoporosis. It’s been found that people with osteoporosis have a much higher degree of calcification in the arteries and joints. This means a person has excess calcium, but it’s not going to the right places in the body. When dealing with osteoporosis and osteopenia, we can’t just look at a loss of calcium. We also need to consider vitamin K2 deficiency and vitamin D3 deficiency. Vitamin D3 supports calcium absorption, and vitamin K2 helps drive calcium into the bones. If you take vitamin K2 as a supplement, it may be best to take the natural form called MK7. Vitamin A (retinol) is another important vitamin to support healthy bones. These essential vitamins for osteoporosis are all fat-soluble, which means supporting your gallbladder and liver is crucial. Bile salts can help support the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients if you have a gallbladder or liver problem. It’s also essential to have strong acid in the stomach to absorb minerals and trace minerals. I would still take some form of calcium if I had osteoporosis. But I would also take these other nutrients. I would also avoid calcium carbonate, which is less bioavailable than other forms. Try to get your calcium and other nutrients from food. Other important minerals and trace minerals for strong bones: • Magnesium • Potassium • Zinc • Copper • Boron Be sure you’re also consuming high-quality sources of protein and are exercising consistently to help with osteoporosis and osteopenia. Although I was a carnivore, during immunotherapy I watched my blood protein levels drop below the normal level. Simultaneously I noticed my bone weight measure from 10.4 lbs down to 9.8 lbs. Keytruda failed as a cancer treatment and my oncologist didn't even notice my bone loss. I contacted a nutritional coach who sent me Lipanese digestive enzymes and my protein levels shot up immediately. I did beat cancer by following Prof Thomas Seyfried's therapeutic ketosis protocol in conjunction with chemotherapy after Keytruda 🤪

Im only 41 and i broke my femur right by my hip. I did the dexa scan and I have osteo. I am walking more, I try to do 1.5km a day at least, taking the Algaecal supplements, D3 +K2 + Magnesium complex, foot tapping/rebounding (haven’t been able to do that one yet) and learning about Low Intensity Vibration. I hope to purchase a vibration plate in the future since the research is so wonderful and lots of success stories. I know I can reverse it and I’ve heard many others have. Anything is possible folks! 😊

I lost 2 inches is height 25 years ago due to medication. I told my doctor at the time that I possibly had osteoporosis, and he said that big strapping black men don't get it. Fast forward to today. I told my allergist that I feared losing bone mass due to my history, when he prescribed asthma inhaler. He assured me that I had nothing to worry about. My nephew, who I always towered over, was looking me in the eye. Within a ten-month stretch, I lost an addition inch and a half. My point, be weary of doctors and medication. Be proactive with your health and do research and get second opinions.

I remember in an archeology class how they identified the different type of soldiers at battle sites by their bones. Archers forearms, one was larger than the other forearm. Foot soldiers entire arms were bigger bones than the other because of wielding swords depending on being left or right handed. Bones get calcium based on need, which is determined by stress. 😊

Main point, can take 6 years to correct the problem. Therefore, start eating healthy when young, so the problem does not occur, or the body has the minerals to correct things as hormones decrease.
