Breaking: Google Upgraded Nano Banana Again!

Maintaining character consistency for five different people in a single room is exactly what I needed for my latest short story. I’m running my production on Omnely since it offers unlimited Nano Banana 2 alongside Sora 2 and Kling 3.0, so I can animate these consistent scenes in 4K without breaking my workflow.

The text accuracy in Nano Banana 2 is next level! I’ve been using Omnely to build out my landing page mockups because having unlimited Nano Banana 2 and GPT-5 in one dashboard makes the "Choose a plan" layout perfect every single time.

I think the part that’s being missed is that not everyone wants speed over quality. In my experience, Nano Banana 2 didn’t offer any meaningful time savings, but it did produce noticeably weaker results than Nano Banana Pro. What excites me is seeing real breakthroughs in rendering quality. If I see a drop in quality, I’m not interested, no matter how it is framed.

Wait till Nano Banana 2 Pro comes out, should be here by next week ☺

I am soo frustrated with Nano Banana 2. It gives good quality, but it seems like I am pulling teeth now to get it to do anything I want. And all I have been doing the last few days is having it make cartoon pictures of animals and trying to keep them in the same style by having it change the last animal generated to the next animal to try and keep the consistency going, but now it is combining them into crazy creatures.

Thanks for putting this to the test. It honestly surprises me that these companies keep releasing new versions of their tools with zero instructions or reference manuals. We’re all just blind guessing how they work ... or why they don't. Your test on the '4K' output is a perfect example: even when explicitly prompted, the tool just ignores the instruction without any explanation as to why it's failing to hit those specs.
