My Mom died young and over 4 decades ago. But i remember her telling me when i was a teen, feminism will destroy families. Smart lady !

Father of 6 here in the last 8 years. Society sadly doesn't value family like it used to. You wouldn't believe the comments my wife and I have had from every day people in the stores when they see our family. Some have approached us to tell us about birth control or shamed me for 'forcing' my wife to have our kids.

Can’t complain about birth rates if we are not incentivizing families to grow.

Problem Is Social Media, When People Compare Their Life With Social Media Life, No Body Wins. Envy Is One Of The Sins.

We as a society hate children. Children used to be seen as a blessing, newly married couples desired children. Now children are portrayed as being only a level above dads, but still below that of pets; soul-sucking, financial burdens, shatterers of dreams and careers, and stealers of beauty.

Adam is nearly 50 and no kids

In 1970 you could buy a house on one salary at the average age of 25. In 2025 the average age is 38 and you need two salaries. I think economics might have something to do with it.

When I grew up in the 70s and 80s parents let the kids play outside and kids were responsible for making it to school and to baseball practice after school. Now parents are pressured to do everything for their children. These demands make it harder to have multiple children.

Horrible economy, record employment lows, collapsing society. Yet the standards for men have increased and they still question "Where have the real men gone".
