Father of 6 here in the last 8 years. Society sadly doesn't value family like it used to. You wouldn't believe the comments my wife and I have had from every day people in the stores when they see our family. Some have approached us to tell us about birth control or shamed me for 'forcing' my wife to have our kids.

What young men have been saying for years---- the majority of young women don't want kids. Mainstream media is finally publishing women's reasons for it and, shocker, they simply don't want them. There are economic factors influencing it, but overall the issue is cultural/social values. Modern women were raised to put in the work for a bag for themselves. Just ask any Boomer with a daughter what they taught their daughter about being a wife or mother, you'll see why

Guys, I’m a military veteran, no criminal record, business owner, and leader in my community. I filed for divorce and my wife and her attorney make up a whole bunch of lies and take my children away, and I haven’t seen them in more than a year. No criminal record. No evidence of any child abuser breaking any laws. The court system in this country is fundamentally so corrupted that it is impossible for men to safely marry and have children with anyone. A woman can literally say anything she wants and have your kids taken from you in this country. And I’ve met thousands of men this has happened to. It does not matter how much money you have for attorneys, my friend. I have more than $1 million to fight this and no attorney can do anything. You have to discuss this if you’re gonna talk about why men are not getting married to women. Every young man knows this. There are thousands of videos young men watch seeing this.

In 1970 you could buy a house on one salary at the average age of 25. In 2025 the average age is 38 and you need two salaries. I think economics might have something to do with it.
