Hey. What can we say? Your voice is buttery, smooth, and soothing. Not a bad thing. I like to listen while I fall asleep as well.
It's not because you're boring that I listen to these to fall asleep, but rather the opposite. I have severe anxiety, and in the quiet, it's impossible to keep my brain from spiraling off into worry. These are interesting enough, and your voice is calming enough (hecklefish notwithstanding) that it keeps my mind occupied, until I fall asleep. and since they're compilations of episodes I've already watched all of, there's no anxiety over missing anything either. They're literally perfect for me, and I appreciate them greatly.
R.I.P. my friend Bill, who shared my love of The Why Files. He loved listening to them as he slept too. Unfortunately, he passed away a couple weeks ago, way too young. Thank you AJ and Hecklefish for all the conversations we had about your show and all the joy you brought to our friendship. He will be greatly missed.
AJ and Hecklefish helped me survive my first year with a Stage 4 diagnosis. This show running in the background did wonders for my mental health as I recovered from major surgery on my leg and radiation to my kidney and bones. My daughters even got me a WF? T shirt and mug. 😊 You guys are more important to people than you probably realize. Thanks!
Just finished a nightshift, got home. Had a cigarette and a pint of Guinness, put food out for the birds, (it’s a cold morning here in Northern Ireland) and got ready for bed…06:40AM…..so yes, I may see about ten mins of this before I’m asleep, but I’ll come back to this many times…..compilations are some of my favourites. Life is great, Even when it’s not all going to plan. G’night all.

This format is fantastic. AJ is the serious one, and Lord Heckledish is his alter ego with the comedy relief. One man, and both sides of the story with hilarious but subtle adult humor. Bravo.
