‘Smirking’ Parents Accused of Baby’s Horrifying Murder

A 2-month-old Louisiana girl died from horrific abuse, with an autopsy revealing her lower spine had been severed, causing fatal internal bleeding, along with broken ribs, dehydration, and malnourishment. Police say the baby had been in the exclusive care of her parents, Taylor Daniel Broussard and Kaylee Fontenot, who are now charged with first-degree murder, cruelty to a juvenile, and second-degree battery.
