They looked good. Darnold hit some big time throws. JSN is a legit #1, and the defense looks pretty good.
If Colin uses the word “elite,” it always comes with an asterisk.

It is not often a team can get a free agent QB who is really good in free agency. Seattle and Tampa are fortunate to land good QBs in their prime without having to draft and develop.
There’s nobody happier for Sammy darnold then Colin . Dudes been behind him since he got drafted . Good on Sammy for reinvigorating his career . Only the top 0000000.1 percent of qbs have success regardless of the coach ( Peyton manning took 4 different head coaches to super bowls as an example ) . But for everybody else ? Structure is the most important element besides talent . Take Justin Herbert . Jokes of a head coach after joke after joke and finally he gets jim harbaugh . Structure and coaching matters .
In regard to Kyler, being not wanting to be hit, also Tyler Lockett, formerly of the Seahawks, also smaller build, and also used self preservation tactics in not getting hit. Look how long he has lasted in the league with a smaller body. With the few Seahawk penalties in the 2nd half could have closed the door in the game. The holding call against JSN as the Seahawks scored made no sense. And the penalty against Kenneth Walker, while it was correct call, they should have also called against the other player who, after the play, raised KW's leg from the ground, which could have caused an injury to him, so it is understood why KW threw the ball at him.
As a USC Trojan since the Kiffin years, I’ll say that Sam Darnold and Caleb Williams gave us some of the the only happy memories in the past 15 years.
