During hours of questioning, Andrews admits to spending time alone with the boy and describes multiple encounters while repeatedly blaming the teenager and downplaying the relationship, even as detectives accuse her of abusing her position of trust. Andrews was later arrested and ultimately convicted on seven charges tied to the case, receiving a controversial two-year prison sentence that prosecutors said failed to reflect the seriousness of the crimes.
