I feel terrible for those pilots families. What a nightmare.

Man that’s hard to watch… As a five-year-old one of the first things I was taught was to look left and right, and now, 50 years later as an airline Captain, when the highly trained and highly skilled ATC controller tells me I’m “cleared to cross” … there’s that little 5 year-old boy in me that still needs to look left and right. This is absolutely tragic. The poor victims and their families… a plane on the ground makes it even more of a tragedy. May their souls rest in peace.

Can you imagine being strapped in a plane, landing... then suddenly you're outside, on the runway, still strapped to your seat, in the rain and all you know is you're somehow alive
