It’s so torturous how Ashley has several times harped on if things would have been different if the girls had indeed gone back out for food. And to ask a victim’s father? Like that’s not something that probably regularly tortures him and he has to not let himself spiral? The killer, which seems to be Bryan, was stalking them. He had been by their house at least a dozen times over a few months. If the girls hadn’t been home, he would’ve come back another night. No point in torturing loved ones with “what if’s.”

Judge Hipler strikes me as a Judge who is DOING HIS JOB instead of a "task master!"

Incredible how beautiful all four victims were. They had everything to live for.

@2:00 when she asks 'what if', no it would not have changed anything if the girls went out again. The dude was casing out the area for weeks and clearly stalking them, so he would have just done it another night.

When I was a college freshman, we had a prowler stalk our apartment one night. I was awakened by my roommates screaming when they saw the guy peeking in their window, and they were running around like they didn't know what to do. It wasn't till I suggested we call campus security that we were able to decide on a plan. So I completely understand the confusion and absolute terror those girls went through before calling 911. They are to be pitied, not judged.

when I was 25 years old, I rented a house with another roommate. The roommate was not home, and I had been working and came home and went to bed. I woke up in the middle of the night. There was a stranger that had trapped into the house while I was sleeping and with waking me up and sitting on my bed. I was terrified I jumped up and immediately ordered the stranger to leave looking back. I’m shocked at my reaction. Once he was out the door, I was so terrified that I ran back to my room and grabbed my phone and called not 911 but my friend that lives in out of town. I told her what happened. I couldn’t believe if I was really awake or a dreamshe instructed me to hang up and call 911 so there is an example of being young and confused, I wasn’t even drunk, but I was very disoriented. I can completely understand how they reacted.
