Joe Biden has admitted that the attacks on Houthis in Yemen are having no effect in terms of discouraging the blockade imposed on ships carrying goods through the Red Sea to Israel, but he’s going to keep doing them anyway, he says. Yet these actions are in fact strengthening the Houthis and increasing their reputation across the Middle East, which is turning even further away from the United States.
