People need to stop downplaying how important and impactful the spiritual world is. It’s VERY real and VERY consequential.

I never thought I’d see the day where this occult stuff is being talked about openly on a very famous podcast. Humanity is truly awakening

Orthodox Christian understanding of the demonic realm is such that we don't face the demons ourselves, we pray to the Lord and demons leave because they tremble and are terrified to hear the name of Jesus. We know from the lives of the saints that they were even physically attacked by demons and they physically fought them but in the name of Christ, with the prayer, not by themselves.

To those browsing the comment section: Having an open mind is a great strategy. On the other hand, in doing so, be careful. We are all human, prone to error. Sean Stone on the surface seems to lean more traditional, while his father, Oliver Stone kind of mixes and interprets things his own way. Either way, I think it’s fair to take both of their religious beliefs with a grain of salt. Sean and his Dad are Hollywood filmmakers, and their perspectives are likely shaped by an industry built on storytelling and imagery not really deep spiritual study. As many know today, the world of fame and constant reinvention can blur what’s genuine belief versus personal expression. So what Sean seems to be honestly sharing feels more like personal opinion shaped by their lifestyle rather than something truly authoritative. One should never take any interview/podcast guests viewpoint as concrete. View it through the lens of skepticism.
