As a long term investor myself, only doing VTI, this is like once in a lifetime opportunity with 4IR, AI, etc. I have been planning to retire in year 2036.

I will continue to DCA into an s&p500 index fund/etf every month and have enough dry powder on the sides to buy the big dips of my favorite stocks. In Tom We Trust.

Unfortunately even if Tom is correct, an end of year rally would likely at best get us back to where we were before the pullback.

The stock market used to be just as volatile as crypto, then the the Fed created the “Plunge Protection Team” now it’s “stable”. Crypto has no plunge protection mechanism so, sometimes it plunges and others it skyrockets.
