Honestly, Vladimir sounds like an incredibly intelligent person who understands the actual issues behind vegan/vegetarian products and marketing towards the everyday consumer. His point of wanting to make a product that someone is either going to like, or dislike, is a fantastic example of what the general consumer thinks. Dude just wants to make good food that people like, removing the pretentious nature of some of these products out entirely.
My Husband isn't a vegan or vegetarian but I am a pescatarian and eat lots of vegan meats. My husband has had them due to me and has loved them all. If they aren't forced upon someone they are more likely to enjoy them. They definitely taste great!
This was one of the greatest most *chill* conversations I have listened to this year and if anyone can put identitarian politics aside and talk about real authentic approaches to food, what it means to people, and why the communication around it is so important, it's you guys. FANTASTIC guest. I hope Vlad comes back on!!
The amount of people saying this is an ad is hilarious when they don’t even provide a link to the product in the description. Pretty sure any advertiser would require that
I rarely comment on video but I found this very interesting! I love everyone’s options and thoughts. The guest was great! And I don’t feel pressured to eat less meat, just more informed about the alternatives to meat.
Glad to have a review and conversation of plant based meats from people who generally prefer meat! For me I have a lot of texture issues, so I'm always looking for both real meat and meat replacements that meet that golden texture profile
I like the idea of "Beef Day" from John and Hank Green as a way to plan for a special occasion meal rather than an every day thing. Stuff like this helps as an alternative or just something new and interesting.
Italian here. Porco Dio (which can be literally translated to “pig God”) is the most common and simple blasphemy you can hear in Italy. 🌠 The more you know
I had not heard of this company or product at all before now. Thank you for bringing this to everyones attention and having a great convo about these products/why someone would eat it. So happy this product exists and really hope I can try it soon. I MISS ribs but cant eat the real thing any longer because of a red meat allergy
I have never loved Josh and Nicole more than when they understood Vladimir's excellent HHGTTG reference.
