Florida College Student Charged With FELONY For Joking About Netanyahu!

A Florida International University student, Gabriela Salazar, was recently arrested and charged with a felony for making a joke in a WhatsApp group chat asking "Denyahu" (a play on Netanyahu) to "drop some bon bons" so students could avoid a capstone event. Judge Mindy Glazer ruled there was probable cause, stating that "an objective person would view the messages as a credible threat," despite the student never mentioning bombs and calling it a dumb joke.
