Texas megachurch pastor Bishop T.D. Jakes is stepping down. On Sunday, Jakes announced that he is handing over leadership of The Potter's House congregation to his daughter and son-in-law. During the service, he expressed gratitude to his church family and confirmed that he is stepping down as head pastor of The Potter's House. Pastors Toure and Sarah Jakes Roberts are set to take over leadership as early as July. In November, Jakes suffered a massive heart attack while delivering a sermon. Jakes founded The Potter's House in 1996.
