My favorite part of the story is the fact that Furiosa just nonchalantly escapes each anarchy within every chapter. She knew that she was in control of her destiny. So, she had no worries as she learned and grew. Though the film is about her, she didn't need plot armor to survive each challenge. Furiosa just had a natural instinct to overcome obstacles, and this theme is refreshing to the franchise.
"That wasn't hope, that was instinct" Loved Chris in this.
Well now I want a Furiosa spinoff with Sigourney Weaver as an older Furiosa 🤩🔥😎
Spoiler: She picked up the peach pit as her mom dragged her out of the tent, she kept the pit in her hair/mouth for years to finally find a purpose for it. The first shot is her picking that peach and the close to* last shot is her giving the new tree's first peach to the wives. Thought that was beautiful and metaphorical
One of the CGI tricks you seemed to have missed is they used computers to blend the face of the little girl with ATJ’s face. At the beginning the character was 70% girl and 30% ATJ. Throughout the film the “dial” was turned until at the end the character had grown so that 70% was now ATJ and only 30% of the girls face was left.
Sucks that the doof warrior only appears for a split second but I guess it makes sense
Just saw this today and I’m soooo Blown away. It’s unlike anything I expected. I thought this genre was old and done since most 80s movies like Terminator and Robocop which gets rebooted just fail but put an amazing director and make it personal and put great actors, scripts and budget and you’ve got amazing exciting movies
Lady and Gentlemens 😂 man Chris nailed it. Legendary performance

These movies are basically stories being told second hand so that explains continuity issues for me.
