Where you draw some letters on a piece of paper using glue, then you add some salt on top, and using ink gives it some color. Another great marker trick is to cut some slices off your marker to draw multiple lines with it. Instead of using notebooks, you can take an old DVD case and use it as a note-taker. Simply, write on it with a marker, then wipe it off with a sponger and reuse as many times as you like. If your markers are water-soluble, you can use them to give your drawings watercolor effects too.
