The things that "terrify" Joe Rogan never cease to amaze me. Things like: settled science, basic civics, history.

PhD student in Immunovirology here: The mRNA vaccine is administered intramuscularly, where it is taken up by specific immune cells. These in turn, produce a bit of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and cut it into small pieces to then migrate to lymph nodes and train other immune cells to recognize the small pieces of the spike and fight covid. mRNA mostly does NOT go back to the nucleus mRNA, unless in extremely specific conditions in whoch you are dying already, DOES NOT convert back into DNA (that is what viruses like HIV do, and what we do to an extent to keep our DNA from eroding). The whole conspiracy that the vaccine integrates with our DNA is an extremely low hanging fruit for researchers to find AND it would be found in most human sample nowadays.

So she claims to think there's a conspiracy that tricked innocent people into taking a dangerous substance that she claims has long lasting negative health effects, and as a medical professional her response to this terrible knowledge is to deny these people medical treatment at her practice?

Rogan is utterly incapable of proportioning his beliefs to the evidence.

Joe is just super scared to die. When there was covid he was super strict, everybody had to be tested to even enter the studio. When he got covid, he threw the kitchen sink at it. And when he got the idea that the vaccine might kill him, he spiraled into total panic, and still hasn't recovered from it. It is coupled with this idea that health is some kind of moral test, if you have enough discipline you will stay healthy, and if not you will get sick. Thus, if you get sick, you were either undisciplined, or it was caused by something else. That is why he can't believe a fit young guy could get sick, if you do sports you have earned the right to be healthy, so it must have been the evil vaccine that caused it, there is literally no other possible explanation.

Joe Rogan mode of operating: 'Person X who is aligned with my believes told me.' And then it's a fact for him.

Every time I hear someone cry about the vaccine in 2025 I always think of that Japanese soldier who thought they were still fighting WW2 like two or three decades later.
