Im struggling w depression, addiction and ive been contemplating the worst and this is what i needed to hear .. I will be ok now. Thank you Edit: THANK YOU for all your kind words!! It's been a yr since my original comment and tho the struggle is still very real I do have some positives going on now . Example I am no longer homeless I am visiting my kids weekly I am seeing a therapist So things are going to get better
Make this comment top so it might help someone. My addiction pushed me into depression and schizophrenia, and I almost reached the point of giving up. But everything shifted when I started saying gratitude and repentance affirmations like ‘I am grateful, and I am sorry,’ day and night. At first, they were just words, but slowly, they began to take effect. Now, I only repeat them three times a day—right before bed, after waking up, and in the evening—for 30 minutes, and I am happy. The voice in my head has become a friend.
