Argentinean here: There's not really a new citezenship program. It's just a minor reform due to concerns about regional migration from countries like Bolivia and Paraguay that for the past 40 years have systematically inundated our country, and using it's public health services for free without actually paying proper taxes or living here. We're still on the "stabilization" stage of the reforms. We're not actually even close to attract foreigners searching for lower taxes.
The most important thing: No nuclear missiles arrive in Argentina.
Just live there for 2 years! Time just flies by. No need to pay $500.000. There are SO many places to know and explore in this country, you'll never run out of destinations.
it's time to be countryman with Messi
When the shit hits the fan in the northern hemisphere, Argentina will look like paradise
I am originally from Brazil. I can say I know all the other Mercosul countries quite well. Both Argentina and Paraguay now look good for certain investments, but Uruguay is my favorite country for permanent living in (I like the "boring" aspect many people dislike...well, I'm 62). Depending on the price of the property you purchase in Uruguay, there're no minimum stay requirements to keep the residency permit. If you're older than 45, there are no vaccine requirements. Owning weapons is straightforward once the "cedula" is obtained. Food is gorgeous. People are kind, you're left alone if you wish. I still think it's more strategic to live in any Mercosul country as a foreign investor rather than as a naturalized citizen, mainly because of the tax benefits in Uruguay and Paraguay, as both have territorial tax regimes...depending on the investor's profile, both can work as tax havens without being tagged as such, worldwide. Paraguay is growing fast and have great perspectives as the Bioceanic road corridor approaches its completion within the next 12 months. Great people, but I just can't stand the hot & humid weather all year round. Brazil is currently a huge question mark, as the country is navigating through another institutional crisis without a solution in the short term. Crime rates are rampant in many regions, personal and corporate security are a factor, else it is a tax nightmare...worse than Spain. That said , I will watch the webinar. I am curious to see what Mr. Milei is offering on this 500K package... 🥱🧉⏳

I so wish I could Argentina is such a beautiful and amazing country!!!! I had the best time ever
The biggest risk is that you can never renounce Argentinian citizenship. Once you have their citizenship, it's forever, better or worse.
Why isn't the Tax Terminator the "Chief Knowledge officer" ? I mean Javier just seems so much smarter 😂
