Joe Rogan Experience #1968 - Jason Everman

This is one of the most unnassumingly inspiring episodes. I admire this dude so much for always rewriting his chapter. Mad respect, man.

This guy is fascinating. He is possibly the humblest man doing an interview that I have seen in memory. I don't think that most of you know just how unordinary this man is. He gets a F on talking about himself, but an A on life accomplishments, and guts! He is a extraordinary American. One worth fighting for.

Amazing guy. He paid for the bleach recording sessions using money he earned from working as a deep sea fisherman. Jason was actually a better musician that Kurt Cobain. It must have been hard just holding back and playing what was directed to him. Not many people are aware just how good of a musician Jason is. Kurt stated many negative things about Jason but equally, it must have been hard being within close proximity of Kurt and all his idiosyncrasies. Being a major fan of Kurt and Nirvana since 1989, one can be easily be biased, but to this day, Jason has never insulted or criticised Kurt. He stayed quiet for decades. Human beings easily learn how to speak, however, it is a skill and merit to learn when not to speak. Its amazing that we finally get to hear him and his story. What an interesting life. Thanks guys for such a great video.

He was nervous and I found it good how Joe got him to relax and open up and getting him talking about things I was asking what happened and really interesting

This guy is totally from the PNW. You have to coax the information out of him. But when he opens up, he has a lot of interesting things to say.

This has to be ONE OF THE TOP 3 podcasts Joe has ever done! Jason Everman is the "Pete Best" of that early 90's Seattle music scene. How inspiring to hear how he dealt with all that and has arrived at this point in life, content and happy.
