Megyn Kelly is joined by Dr. Bob Lahita and Dr. Dirk Perritt to discuss what could possibly have caused Busch's death, whether severe sinus issues may have pointed to a more serious underlying condition, and more. It could have been untreated pneumonia that turned septic. That's what killed my 25 year old son in December 2019.

Why are we thinking he died “suddenly”? It seems to me that he had an infection for over a week, it was far more serious and aggressive than he originally thought, which then turned into pneumonia, and his blood became septic and he passed away hours later or the next day from sepsis. This happens far more often than people realize. The 911 call seems to suggest a lung related issue, not brain or heart. Not a sudden immediate death. No, I’m not a dr, but I miraculously survived mrsa pnuemonia, a large cavity in my right lung, and my blood going septic. I had no idea I was even sick, but my heart started racing while sitting down watching tv, so I assumed a heart attack and called an ambulance. At the hospital I was told that it was very unlikely that I would survive the next 48hrs. I got incredibly lucky. Kyle didn’t. Rest in peace, Racer.

Speculation gets us nowhere. Whatever happened, a woman is a widow, and his children have lost their father.

I woke up one morning spitting up blood and hurting when I swallowed and chest pain. I had to have emergency surgery on my esophagus and it was scary. This happened only a few weeks ago. GOD bless his family 🙏🏻

I had a bad sinus infection earlier this year. When I would lay down I kept waking up because the drainage was so bad that I couldn't breathe. So I went to urgent care. The nurse practitioner that saw me acted like he didn't care and blew me off. He said that if I had been sick for at least 3 weeks he would have given me an antibiotic. Otherwise, I had to just ride it out. Later that day I was at home and the sinus drainage got in my throat and blocked my airway. I couldn't breathe and slumped over on the bed. My husband saw me and said he thought that I was having a seizure. I was finally able to cough and clear it out. The next day I was finally able to see my doctor. She immediately gave me an antibiotic. It finally cleared up. But I thought I was gone that day. That was the scariest I had ever been. I still have PTSD just thinking about it. 😢
