Spider-man is currently labelled as a murderer and venom currently believes himself to be the lethal protector, seems like in a near to be released movie we will see them fight before they realize their on common moral grounds against a true evil
“Eddie turnover, Eiffel Tower” 🤣
“Why does Carnage hate him so much?” Right before Venom eats him, Cletus said all he ever wanted was Eddie’s friendship. I guess that rejection is what drove him to hate him and want to kill him. Also I think in the comics they establish that each offspring is stronger than it’s parent. So Carnage is stronger than Venom and Toxin is stronger than Carnage. They don’t really establish it in the movie but I think there the implication is that Cletus and the Carnage symbiote’s bloodlust combined sort of makes them stronger. Oh and their diet. When Carnage ate the priest he got huge but since Venom only eats chocolate and chicken he’s not 100%
One of the funniest gags, was Venom realizing they need sound to defeat Carnage, and looking to Shriek. But instead of telling her to scream, he just throws her into the bell.
here's a comment that i made on a New Rockstars regarding something i didnt see anyone point out anywhere. No one pointed this out, so here it goes: Light-years are a unit of distance (not time), so when Venom says: 90 billion light years, here is probably refering to the size of the Symbiote empire throughout the Multiverse. This means that the Symbiote multiversal empire is approximately the size of our observable universe. The amount of setup in such a short sentence is insane, and it makes me even more excited for the future of the Symbiotes in the MCU!

Definitely they are paying homage to the Maximum Carnage storyline. I even enjoyed the Spiderman: TAS with the whole prison break out sequence with Carnage but of course here it's heightened to a whole new level. The look of Cletus Kasady if you look closely is kind of model after the animation of Cletus Kasady voiced by Scott Cleverdon in the 90's series. Simultaneously with creating the spell with Brock/Venom getting transported to the MCU timeline in the mid-credit scene felt like it's dovetailing to No Way Home. The whole mid-credit scene with Venom licking the TV screen as he sees Parker as Spiderman felt like he found his perfect snack to feed on lol.
Guys, I noticed another Easter egg. Remember when the lady was walking past a cell to get to shrieks cell at ravencroft and she quickly talked to the male prisoner referring to him as Dmitri? I googled Dmitri Ravencroft, and it turns out Dmitri is the chameleon!!! Yooooo
13:41 in the comics the off spring of the symbiotes are always stronger
Strangely One of the longest laughs in my theater, was when Eddie shake’s Dan’s hand, only to slap him, which caused laughter. The weird part was what got my theater roaring was the brief shot of Eddie running away afterwards, it was priceless.
