I haven’t watched “60 Minutes” in 4 or 5 decades. I’m 84. It has been a waste of time for decades. Bye-bye, Pelley!
What happened to dignity? When we got fired, let go, retired early, we went home, licked our wounds, cried on our partner's shoulders, maybe called our best friend and had a whine fest.. We did not look for public forums to publicly humiliate ourselves. Especially when you got fired in part for blasting your new boss in front of your coworkers.
What a weak, pathetic, smug, arrogant man Scott Pelley is. His overly dramatic and emotional responses were nauseating. 🤢
Firing people is murder!? You know what describing it like that does? Diminishes actual murders. Sick.

Your commentary on Pelley and the President was poetic.
I am ecstatic to hear him talk about the bill to stop horses from being shipped to other countries and slaughtered for human consumption. So many of these horses are young and healthy. The kill pens, no matter the age of the horse, is very traumatic for the horse. Horses are injured and not cared for and left bunched together in the kill pen, smelling blood and fear. The horses are scared and panicked. Many horses sent to kill pens are retired racehorses. I am associated with a non-profit retired racehorse rescue. We have a retired racehorse currently who raced 60 times. Over the years, we've fostered and adopted several thoroughbreds. Some barns, the minute they're done with the horse, send them to the kill pen. They're shipped to Canada or Mexico because the states outlawed the slaughter of horses many years ago. In China and Europe, horses are on the menu. However, these horses are not healthy meat for human consumption. Even a supplement for horses has a warning, "not meant for horses of human consumption" so think of more serious medications routinely given to racehorses that containmenates the meat of a horse that humans eat. Thoroughbreds are smart, sweet, curious, loyal, cuddly, playful. They're especially sensitive to human emotions and make wonderful therapy horses. Imagine if pet dogs were daily crammed onto semitrucks, shipped across borders, and slaughtered in an assembly line - all of them frantically panicking and scared because they sense what's coming. And they end up on a plate. How would people then stop this discusting practice?
A 68 year old who lost his 7 million dollar a year job. 😭
Thank you Megyn for another outstanding show.
