There’s a difference between having so many jobs and having many jobs not paying livable wages. There are slot of corporate layoffs and freezes.
I remember prior to the pandemic a company I worked for had a 50% attrition rate in one year, all professionals. Eventually the company were forced to accept they were working their staff too hard and no amount of outwardly convincing people to work smarter blah blah blah cuts it when people can vote with their feet. If you want to recruit and retain people treat them decently quite simple really.
A group of 5 people all quit at the same time at my place of work. All well paying jobs. There were 7 people in the department and now there's 2. They were all less than 5 years from retirement. Their last manager left because she didn't get a promotion that should've easily gone to her but the company decided to look at outside candidates. 👎🏽
Thats so true. Im one of them loud quitters
We quitting again....ok, bet!!

Those jobs are mainly retail part time jobs, nobody wants dead end jobs.
Management is the key...I myself have just fuxked off at or left a job just bcuz the management was bad an drove employees a lil crazy lol. Your company is all about your employees, and if you dont treat it that way until you advance past that level its just gna be a revolving door of employees coming and going lol
More job openings were also created in 2020 since travel was banned. Visa programs and travel that allowed workers and student workers from other countries were paused. That forced wages for basic summer jobs, temp jobs and labor jobs to increase, since they were trying to hire locals to fill them. When travel was allowed again, the level of foreign workers did not return to what it was before. That combined with cheap money also helped contribute to more job openings.
I have only paid rent, bought food and fuel for the last year. The economy is already dead to me.
