Western Mainstream Media will tell us that Pokrovsk was not important .

It's disgraceful that I live in such a "diverse" country but the mainstream media is anything but diverse.

It’s incredible how this contradicts other media reports in the west. Every day I read about Ukraine obliterating Russian drone factories and platoons. Even Kherson episode was portrayed as Russian were either decimated or they left like cowards. Why are we fooling people? If Ukraine is so strong, shouldn’t Russians have withdrawn by now?

All we can do is pray for no civilian casualties, a quick Russian victory and that as many Ukrainian soldiers are able to surrender as possible.

Suddenly, Pokrovsk became a city with NO strategic value for Ukraine and Zelensky has NO control, therefore he lets it go. Next will be Kupiyansk and Dnipro.

When the choice has come down to "lose fast or lose slow" the answer is the one given by von Rundstedt in 1944 -- "Make peace you fools." Die in this city, or die in the next one behind, is no choice at all. The men will die, all the positions will be lost, there is no hope.
