The DSA has supported non DSA members. Maybe not the NY chapter specifically but other chapters have backed non DSA members.

This dude claiming progressives are “digging through” their background - ALL campaigns do that???? And it’s better for us dems to be thorough then to rest running a candidate that has clear flaws

I find it cool that Mamdani and some of his chosen staff are able to disagree on something like this, and still work together, no problem, no retaliation, etc. Unlike the pres regime and cabinet. Ultimately, I hope the RIGHT person wins.
