Those of us who grew up during the Cold War know the one thing that can protect you from nuclear holocaust -- the school desk.
My dad was a medic in the Pacific Theater at the end of WWII. He enlisted at age 17. He was on the clean-up of Hiroshima. He died at age 61 from thyroid cancer. The Veterans Administration denied his cancer medical bills.
It's pure evil that private companies can profit from war and give money to politicians who create those wars

The US government is no longer releasing public reports on arms sales to foreign countries. This is completely unacceptable.
Funny she mentioned the Hawaii missile scare. I remember that morning. I woke up and everyone in the house was freaking out. My little sister was packing clothes and her boyfriend was running them to the car. My little brother was trying to unplug his pc, guess he thought he would be taking it with him, wherever he thought he was gonna go😂 My step mom was covering the kitchen windows with cling film plastic wrap😂 I made coffee, asked what was going on. They told me there was a ballistic missile incoming. I laughed. Nothing we could have done was going to save us in the event we actually got hit. I packed a bowl and took my coffee outside to watch the sun rise. 🤣
