Come on, it’s him or Susan Ciollins…..is it really that hard of a choice??
I lived in Maine for a few years. Graham Platner is the state of Maine personified.
The big difference is that Plattner has owned his past and grown from it!
It’s incredibly simple. People want to elect politicians that will operate in their interest also known as a representative government. That’s it
I would love a Mark Carney too, that would mean universal healthcare and folks won’t go broke paying for cancer treatments.
Traveling in Maine this week from NYS, I've yet to see one Susan Collins sign. Graham Platner signs all over, back roads, small towns up the coast....I hope to see signs in upstate NY for the farmer, Blake Gendebien when I return to NY. A change is coming to protect American workers, farmers, ordinary Americans.
I like Platner. I'm friends with some war veterans. They go through rough times and say messed up things. But they get in a better place and change their opinions. I'm not voting for him, because I live in Missouri. I hate what our Republican leaders do here.
7:43 Funny story — my husband was in the Marine Corps in WWII, he was in China and thought he was pretty savvy about Chinese culture. A fellow Chinese guy gave him a ring with a Chinese word he was told was a compliment. Later, back in the states, he found out that the word meant, “loud mouth.” Perfect!
One name, Strom Thurmond. Conservatism was a veil for turning the clock back before the VRA.
I realized in the mid 90s that the Republican party never cared about character. They cared about the spectacle. They said they cared about character when it came to Clinton but that was just so they could launch into the spectacle. If Republicans cared about character, people like Rush Limbaugh would not have gotten as popular as he did. Republicans care more about the show than about policy. Keep the show running, distract the people and pick their pockets clean.
