About the history of the game. Tsushima Island is the first place that Mongol invaders attack to conquer Japan. As the Mongols were much more than those who defended the island, they destroyed everything. Jin Sakai is one of those samurai who try to defend the island, but "dies" in the fight with them, together with his fellow samurais. Now, he is engaged in a guerrilla war to expel the Mongols from there. This is before the first mention of the ninjas / shinobis. That's why the name "Ghost." In the game, Jin would be the first Shinobi. He use both techniques, be a Ghost and be a Samurai.
