A very public feud has broken out between former FBI deputy director Dan Bongino and Congressman Thomas Massie after Bongino called Massie an "epic level fraud" and a "zero" who "supports third world tyranny." Massie responded with detailed receipts, revealing that Bongino's staff threatened to criminally investigate Massie's staff over the DC pipe bomb investigation and that FBI staff made late-night Signal calls urging Massie to back off the Epstein files. Massie also noted that he successfully forced the Epstein Files Transparency Act with 218 signatures while Bongino was leaving the FBI.
