I think the main problem with Freud is that he was generalizing a pathology that belonged to a certain group of people. He mainly did psychoanalysis on his own tribe of people and theorized that everyone exhibited these subconscious behaviors and traumas
Professor Jiang is single-handedly making wisdom and knowledge so accessible, and most importantly making us ask questions and trying to seek truth about history so it can help us understand our current world and condition. Thank you truly, what a gift to us all 🙏🏽

I think one thing you missed from this discussion is how Jung's ideas heavily rely on the subjective element which, while aligns more with spirituality, is counter to the materialist mindset of our time while Freud is a materialist.
