Movie studio's idea of anti-hero is just a hero that kills villains

The director saying "give this film a chance" has the same energy as your parents saying "try it, you'll like it" to get you to eat something they know you'll hate.

Kraven's introduction would have been better served by Hannibal's treatment. Because instead of having him there doing exercises like a madman, why not just have him sitting there reading something or doing something calm, Sergei is not a Rhino or Sandman, he is very cultured and quite intelligent as well as patient, which would indicate that he is a man who waits for his prey to come for him, and then you have your beating scene if you want. In 7 minutes you could have told me that Kraven is not only strong, but that he has the knowledge and patience to be called a hunter.

Kraven isn't an anti hero. He's a villain. I think the director said this move is about his journey to becoming a villain. But I'm sure Sony will still fuck it up.
