You missed the #1 benefit credit cards offer. Fraud protection. My CC # gets stolen at least 1 time per year and the banks remove the fraud and send new card, headache for me, but they have to deal with any claw-backs or writeoffs.
You may not know, but in the US, to 'table a bill' means to set it aside, not to bring it forward (as in the UK). A 'tabled bill' in the US is one that is unlikely to be consdered during the session. "Two peoples, separated by a common language'
Don’t carry a balance and avoid paying interest. Either beat them at their own game or don’t play at all. If one manages their budget effectively there should be no reason to carry a balance except for a rare exception.
Most income for them is from poor and average families. Again, people who have less power than billionaires.
Credit cards in America are one of the greatest scams ever. The interest rules are absolutely insane, they can change the interest rate whenever they want. The so called "revolvers" are basicaly slaves of the credit card companies and dreamers pursuing the the rewards they will never reach.
Most of the smaller stores that I deal with give you a cash discount, which is usually more than the reward percentages.
Your thumb nail show a bank Visa card that I have never had compromised. Then you show a coinbase crypto card that seems to always get compromised. My sons card compromised, wife’s card compromised twice, my good buddy’s card compromised twice, my card was compromised once, then again after it was put in a safe and sat for the last two years. Lucky for all of us, we keep are cards locked unless we are going to use it. The last time my card was compromised, the thief’s started to call my cell phone and leaving me messages using my name and claiming to be coinbase support. I called CB and they said it was not them calling. I think CB employees are still leaking our information for cash.
