Mel and I were close friends through our childhood, and remained friends. We both went down hellish paths, mine a bit different. But both of us now saved by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ!! God is so good!!
Grew up down the street from Mel. My father was ranked police and I was a little lad during the thick of it. 90s was a time to be alive. I became a fire/medic. Never wanted to be a cop after seeing all that 😆. The stories are endless. Hope alls well, Mel 💪 (His parents were angels🙏. You wouldve never guessed.)
Shawn… I love where youre going with this Podcast ✝️ Christ is King, forever
I tended bar in a little town on the West Central side of Indiana close to Danille, IL. This was late 80's. It was starting to rain and Hells Angel's, probably 20 bikes, pulled up in front of the bar, came in and started partying. A big guy, at least 6'3" and clearly the one in charge, sat at the end of the bar. He told me that tgey were all hungry but he could tell the grill was closed so I let one of the women cook for them all. I mean, who is going to tell the Hells Angels no? My husband owned the pool room a block away. He came in after he closed. I introduced him to the big man. My husband asked them where they were staying because it was pouring outside by this time. They ended up staying in our pool room all night. The next morning, we went down to the pool room to see if they wanted to go have breakfast, but they had left. The place was spotless. They left money for the snacks and pop along with a letter making up honorary members of the Chicago Hells Angel's. I still have that letter. Mel could be the big guy who sat at the end of the bar.
Got saved couple weeks ago, this pod hits right. Thank you Jesus
Holy cow, this is a five hour conversation!!
Growing up around Mel Chancey, you learn real quick that there’s a difference between being loud and being solid. Mel carries that old-school energy — strength, loyalty, humility, and a lifetime of lessons. Much respect. This was a powerful episode. Love you brother 😢
The Outlaws vs Hells Angels war needs a movie. Insane story.
it's only by the hand of God that you two badasses are here to tell your stories how he kept you alive so others could know him through you. God bless you guys and glory to God through you
He needs to narrate books for Spotify!! That voice is Righteous!!🫠🙃😁
