You really notice that Ed opens up more and more throughout the interview the more he realises that its not just another media appearance he has to do
36:42 "I would hope that for my last meal, it would be a conversation like this." What an incredible compliment to Josh, the Mythical Kitchen team, and this format.
You can very clearly tell where he realizes its not just another normal interview and opens up, great job
Dude, Josh is genuinely so insane at this. He really has improved so quickly over these past few years doing this. Blows my mind.
It is so strange to see Ed Sheeran just hanging out and eating food. This show never fails to impress with the guests.
Man, yknow what? He's right. I did have my mind made up on him, and that's unfair. Cheers, Ed. I'll give your music another shot, this was a great interview.
Little does Ed know that, correct me if I'm wrong, that Josh lost his father when he was around 13/14 years old, and here Ed is saying he's thankful that he didn't experience death and grief before he turned 31. You can see Josh is fighting back tears and he successfully holds it together for this high-profile interview's sake. Also, how brave it was for him to even mention that grief was the end of youth and broach that topic. Man, that must have been hard for him. ❤ 30:36
From the questions to the food, clearly Ed wasn't familiar with MK's game lol. But it was so wholesome to see him really open up to it, especially the comment about wanting his last meal to be a conversation like they just had. That's massive props to Josh & the crew
8:31 the moment Ed recognized that Josh really did listen to the album critically, and didn’t just skim it for research
ed saying taco bell was the biggest disapointment was the most real thing ive ever heard as an australian
