Thank you History Channel.
Hello from the future! 💖 Love this so much! Thank You History Channel!
What has always baffled me is not just the fact that snakes survived the ice ages. but also how in such a short amount of time they now inhabit an area so far north into what was not that very long ago had been covered with huge ice sheets. But to have so many distinct species that are found only in those specific areas as they are found today . I can't remember but in California alone there are 11 species of garden snakes . It would seem that evolution happens a lot faster then it is given credit for. it's peculiar that the species to the north is not like the species found south. I could understand a species found south could migrate so that it could be found both south and north but that's not the case.
❤❤❤❤❤ 😊😊😊 Thanks!
I appreciate the clarity.
The way I see it, the Earth's climate is always changing. Right now, with the population we have, warmer is better than colder. Let's pray that we don't go into another ice age.
