I don’t want to hear a single person complain about the playoff having undeserving teams when we watched TCU get beat 65-7 in the Natty 2 years ago. Not to mention, worst case scenario is a 12 team playoff forced that many teams to actually try in the bowl season. If OSU/Tenn were playing outside the playoff you’d see half of both teams sitting. (To clarify, TCU did deserve to be there. But for people wanting to shrink the playoff or try get upset about who was in/who was out, remember that’s a lopsided game we got in a non-controversial 4 team playoff)

This is only the first playoff, there will be a Cinderella story there should always be 1 or 2 SMU type underdog teams.

It is SEC bias because people are silent about the Tennessee bias. For example, Rich Eisen made two videos on SMU and Indiana blowout and made a case for Alabama. I am still waiting on his video on the Tennessee blowout.
