I know a foster mother. I saw how much work she put in with those kids. It's a lot of work. Staying up late doing homework and waking up early to get them ready for school. It's no joke. She was right in Hempstead

As a volunteer, court appointed special advocate, you learn that abuse and neglect is the American way where ANYONE is allowed to raise a child with no knowledge, no support, no resources. Nothing has changed except the prisons have gotten filled in part with abused and neglected kids.

I was in foster care as a very young child in Santa Cruz in the 80's. My parents were considered unfit. Half of the foster care families were in it for the money, the other were great. Best of luck to her and all the kids going through this, ❤
