One of the hardest documentaries I ever watched. Just watching a woman observe another just out of adolescence through a virtual window as she is slowly dying. Towards the end where Fatma was becoming very weak from hunger it was almost unwatchable. And that smile that never leaves Fatma. Haunting in the worst possible way. But thank you for the testimony
Incomprehensible. So heartbreaking. Thank you for making this film.
Fatma’s legacy will live on as a testimony of love for life, truth, freedom and friendship. Thank you, Sepideh.
Beyond tragic!! She lives through her art but her loss is a great loss to humanity.
Thank you DemocracyNOW
I saw it in theaters with my mother a few weeks ago. It's heartbreaking seeing such a bright soul progressively loose her ability to hope, to dream, to think, even. I knew that she was killed, so every time they talk about things she wants to do in the future, it made me cry. She was my age when she was killed. Such an unfair world, we live in. Free Palestine.
So sad...breaks my heart
What a beautiful light! Her joy and hope lives on. ..due to dear friends who are courageous
I will go see the documentary and look for the book once it's able to get to the US. Thank you for continuing to speak to truth unapologetically and stay safe everyone
My heart is with the people from Palestine. I hope that one day God will bring justice, and the murderers will pay for the deaths of so many children and innocent people.
