Tanner is 100% on the right for this, directives should have stopped at "use strict" Everything else should be a clear typesafe API not a random string; I would even rather have @decorators over these directives

I genuinely think it’s crazy that devs would ask for `await sleep("7 days")` instead of just using a task scheduler. If a task can wait for a week, it doesn’t need to be exact either. With a basic scheduler, you create a task for later, it’s stored persistently, and eventually, it gets done. Updates, restarts, it’d just work.
