This is the only YouTuber cookbook that I'm actually excited for.
So glad you're back. We need voices like yours on Youtube, never underestimate your importance here. There's no other channel that does what you do with such attention to detail and cultural consideration (your hummus video is easily the best tutorial on the site). Looking forward to your book, seriously. Love from Denver.
Great news, guys! Also, Ramadan Kareem to you and your family! ☺️
This is such a huge achievement! Congratulations to both of you. Best of luck on your book journey :)
Thank god you're back! Have really missed you two and your recipes!
This channel has been great for me to get in touch with my Egyptian roots. My old school Egyptian dad does not cook, and Middle Eastern restaurants in the States never offer Egypt-specific dishes like molokhiya or om ali
The lentil soup recipe you posted years ago is a go-to meal for me. Got me through college basically.
I’m super excited about the book!!! I’d love to get that “auntie glare” from my Lebanese neighbors when my dish measures up, despite my appearance and background. 😆
Really glad to have you back and congrats for your cook book project! May I have a suggestion. Apart from the love and exposure I have for the Middle Eastern cuisine, the main reason I love your YouTube channel is for how detailed the process is, in particular when showing the critical moments of the recipes, as well as how you first show the end result of each step in the recipe and go back to how it is to be done. I love that, it is really didactic. So... I hope your cookbook will be also as didactic, I know it is a challenge because words and photos do not describe as well as videos can, with ambient sound in the kitchen (I notice that I use a lot my ears when cooking, they give me most signals on how things are developing on the stove!).
My wife is 2nd gen Lebanese in the US and I’ve been learning and using your wonderful recipes. She loves the authentic flavors.
