passport for 99.9% of us driver needs
The fact that this video was even made is a win for the Passport
TDR Pro used to be a wonderful vehicle for middle class families. Now it's a vehicle for the average home owner with a $1.3M home and a million dollars in liquid stock equities.
A basic TRD-Off Road would have been a better comparison :)
Off-road Toyota no competition but as a daily rugged looking SUV I would take Honda Passport Trailsport everytime.
That’s a 10 speed in the Passport, not an 8 speed
The Honda Passport TrailSport is more capable than ever, but we wanted to see what happens when it has to go up against a bona fide off-roader like the Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. Can the car-based Passport keep up, or will it fall flat on its brand-new face? Watch on to find out!
You guys need to do a Moose Test. Since 99% of the time these vehicles are on road...
Bought one as soon as they were available in Canada. Test drove a Land Cruiser, don't care for the styling of the 4runner, so the Passport was an easy choice for waaaayy less money than the LC. For the forestry/logging roads I will occasionally be driving on, it has more than enough off road capability for my needs. And for the other 90% of the time on roads and in Canadian winter, it will be much easier to live with than either of the Toyotas.
This review is one of the best unbias reviews between these two vehicles. Great job!
