Okay, as someone who has a Minimax sub (along with claude and codex), I'm gonna have to push back a little on this. Minimax is one of the better chinese models, but as someone who's been stuck on it for the last 3 days (on my hermes agent) because my claude and codex accounts are both maxed out, I have to say i've threatened it on numerous occasions. It is not a frontier model and before my claude ran out, i had to have it fix a bunch of incorrect things that minimax did. I think it is good for about 90% of the things one would use an agent for, but that remaining 10% it fails tremendously at. It's not even that it gets there slowly, it doesn't get there and it gaslights you the whole time. :)
Yeah because we all know benchmarks are trustworthy 😂
100x cheaper is misleading and wrong.
Don't forget to mention the 5-hour plan usage

Okay, as someone who has a Minimax sub (along with claude and codex), I'm gonna have to push back a little on this.
