Manchin FREAKS: Kamala Says End Filibuster For Roe V Wade

Filibuster aside, congress had around 50 years to write some abortion legislation at the federal level and they didn't. Instead, abortion has been used as a wedge issue in every election.

When Obama was still campaigning, he promised to make abortion a law. During his office, he later stated that it isn't his priority.

Please Kamala couldn't even get rid of the Parliamentarian for the Min Wage debacle.

Filibuster is absolutely crucial for both parties to not do what they campaigned on. I can't see how either one would agree to this?!

current filibuster is nothing like "Mr. Smith goes to Washington" filibuster. First, there are numerous carve out legislative and appointment issues that are exempt from filibuster. Second, no longer do filibusterers have to remain standing and speak for the entirety of the filibuster. Current filibuster procedure obscures obstructionists and gives cover to the senators holding things up.

Dems have had plenty of chances in the past to codify Roe vs Wade. Most recently, they gave us Juneteenth instead.
