as much as i sympathize with the deceased man in the “assisted suicide” story, it’s also hard to pity someone like that or feel sorry for them. there is absolutely zero need to take someone who’s completely innocent and ruin their life just bc you’re unhappy with yours. poor kid did absolutely nothing to deserve having their life changed like that. they wanted to do something good and instead now have to live with wondering if they’re going to hell or not and feeling like a murderer.
It breaks my heart how people can be so cruel and callous to homeless people. It's kicking someone when they are already down and totally uncalled for. They are human beings at the end of the day and deserve kindness and respect like everyone else. I'm so pleased he came through everything and ended up in a better situation with a friend looking out for him❤
For those who don’t know, a sudden change in mood displayed in a person who is experiencing depression can be a red flag of an imminent attempt on their own lives. Many individuals will suddenly appear generous and happy to give away their possessions, etc, and may appear much calmer and relaxed than usual. This is often due to a sense of relief that the individual may be feeling as they cement their plans. They often feel a sense of relief and peace.

Story 5, and stories like it are some of the scariest you can hear. Evil humans are way scarier than ghosts and a lot of the other horror cliches.
That thumbnail art is absolutely beautiful. So Junji Ito-esque
Crematorium story was great and creepy, but fiction. Retorts don't just "shut off" whenever you'd like after the sequence has started. Retorts get so extremely hot that even if someone were somehow put in there alive, they wouldn't be alive long enough to bang on anything or turn around.
The 5th story was beautiful in a way... This man was being kicked when he was already down, but he still managed to make his way back up, found a friend, and even a sense of faith, using what he gained to give back to what gave to him when he needed it. Seems to me, like a wonderful person.
"I had nothing, but people still wanted to take from me." Oof. That hit hard.
I thought the first story is about a creepy fellow but that was darker than expected
