The stakes were so high and the dems were playing games.

I honestly think David Hogg is genius getting into the VP Chair of the DNC and then using that to get this attention for his cause. Otherwise a side group of his would just get ignored and shut down. Now with his position he can ACTUALLY make it look like someone is ACTUALLY doing something in the Democratic Party. Make that case that the Dem party needs a real overhaul. I love David Hogg

Maybe we should abolish political parties altogether. Is it a representative democracy when political parties are vying for tenure and control? So far that answer has been a resounding no. Elected seats belong to the needs of the constituents of that district or state. They don't belong to ideology, lobbying or political fundraising ties. Until we address that problem our government will always fail.

Based on this interview this guy seems to not get things til it’s too late.
