I work at a company in England. The CEO just got a £5 million bonus on top of his £5 million YEARLY salary. He has his place of residence in Ireland to avoid tax. His work commute is paid for. It cost me almost one month salary for my yearly bus ticket. I'll never be able to afford a place to live without some sort of miracle like the lottery. The usual answer is "get a better job" but there are only so many "better jobs". To work full time and not be able to afford just a place to live is insane. I have no subscriptions to anything like Netflix, I don't have a car, I don't have a gym membership, don't buy a morning coffee, they provide lunch for staff at work etc. It's crazy.

Once it gets to the point where people can't afford to eat, that's where events start to look like the French Revolution.

The fact that the 1% population owns 95% of the world's wealth, and they're resisting paying their fair shares/being taxed more is crazy to me. Greed at its core.

Almost every job I have had has insisted they can't offer me full time work, but demand my full-time availability.

The fun part is most people gonna keep playing their game, hoping to survive longer than everyone else.
